Has the necessary right-of-way been acquired?
All the improvements to this corridor will take place within the existing right-of-way. No additional right-of-way is required.

What are the project limits?
US 90 (Mahan Drive) / State Road 10 from County Road 0353/Dempsey Mayo Road to Walden Road near Interstate 10.

How long is the project?
3.8 miles

What are the future lane and sidewalk widths?
The road will be four-laned and include – 12’ Lanes, 22’ Median with curb & gutter and 4’ Bike Lanes, a 5’ Sidewalk on Westbound Side and a 5’ to 10’ Meandering Sidewalk on Eastbound Side.

Are there any signalized intersections on the project?
The following intersections with State Road 10 US 90 (Mahan Drive) will be fully signalized: Dempsey Mayo Road, Walden Road, Edenfield Road, Champagne Drive/Pedrick Road and Vineland Road.

The following intersection with State Road 10 US 90 (Mahan Drive) will be a flashing beacon: Thornton Road.

How much does the project cost?
The current estimated construction cost for this project is $19.5 Million.
