Arendell Way Closed for Two Days

Chipley – Chipley – Intersection improvement work will take place at Arendell Way and US 90 / Mahan Drive, Wednesday September 1. The intersection will be closed around 7 a.m. and reopen Thursday, September 2 around 6 p.m. Drivers will access Arendell Way via Thorton Road and Miccosukee Road. Construction between Dempsey Mayo Road and Vineland Drive continues, intermittent daytime lane closures will continue through Friday, September 3, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Also, the new westbound lanes of US 90 (Mahan Drive) from Charlais Street to Dempsey Mayo Road opened Thursday morning. Westbound traffic is using a new lane and eastbound continues on one old lane. This work is part of the US 90 (Mahan Drive) reconstruction project to improve traffic between Dempsey Mayo Road to I-10.
