US 90 (Mahan Drive) Westbound Traffic Opens to Two Lanes

Chipley – The new westbound lanes of US 90 (Mahan Drive) from Charlais Street to Dempsey
Mayo Road opened Thursday morning. The old westbound lanes are now a two-lane road.
The new lanes are part of the US 90 (Mahan Drive) reconstruction project to improve traffic
between Dempsey Mayo Road to I-10. More information on the project is available at

Additionally, motorists can expect intermittent day time lane closures through Friday, September
3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mahan Drive between Dempsey Mayo Road and Vineland Drive
while crews continue construction.
